Volunteer 2014 Contest awarding ceremony

The results of the Contest Volunteer 2014 were given out in Kazan for the fifth time. The aim of the Contest was to find and encourage the best volunteers, volunteers’ centres and projects launched in 2014.

The awarding ceremony was held with participation of A.Isayev, the deputy of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan, E.Ephimov, the deputy head of the national policy implementation department, A.Karpov, The Executive Directorate for sports projects, A.Sineglazova, the director of the Center for Volunteering Development.

This year more than 120 applications were sent in the Contest. The best of the best were nominated in 4 categories: Volunteer of the Year (Coordination Centre for Volunteering Development in Bugulma), Volunteer Organization of the Year (Kazan College of Communal Services and Construction), Volunteer Centre of the Year, and Volunteer Project of the Year (Hospital Clowns, Republican Children's Clinical Hospital).
