Incidents report: 8 health and safety incidents on the factory floor in Tatarstan

Ministry of Labor, Employment and Social protection keeps on reporting about people injured in industrial accidents on the factory floor in Tatarstan. According to the data of the State Labour Inspectorate for the Republic of Tatarstan, 5 health and safety incidents and 3 fatal cases were registered to occur on the factory floor in Tatarstan over the period from 10 to 14 November 2014.

7 November, the operator of the vacuum distillation unit employed by ОАО Kazan Optical Mechanics Enterprise died due to the nonindustrial disease.

The same day, the pile driver operator of OOO Construction Company Stalmekhanizatsiya died having hurt by the fallen down cap of pile. The case occurred in the city of Naberezhnye Chelny.

14 November, the electrician of ОАО Zelenodolsk Plant named after A.M. Gorky died due to the nonindustrial disease.

5 November, working with pneumatic wrench the employee of ОАО Kazan Experimental Design Office SOYUZ got his left eye injured by the foreign body that caused a penetrating wound of the eye-ball.

7 November, the second serious industrial accident occurred at OOO Paker-BIS in Naberezhnye Chelny where the worker got a head injury being hurt by the jumped out spear while pulling-and-running operations.

7 November, the next serious accident was registered at OOO Spetsenergomontazh in Yelabuga.  Performing the pipelining operations the worker got an eye injury being hurt by the jumped off ground clamp.

12 November, moving the railway car tanks the worker’s hand was fasten down in the gear system of drawworks. As the result he lost his left hand fingers. The accident occurred at OOO Promtrans-A in Almetyevsk.

14 November, the last serious industrial accident was registered at OAO Nizhnekamsk bread-baking complex. The worker lost a finger of his right hand cleaning the piece equipment.

No group cases were registered over the reporting period.

All the cases are under the investigation at the moment.
