Moscow to host IV Medical Social Forum The world of active ageing

27-28 November, Moscow, IV Medical Social Forum The world of active ageing will be held in the conference hall of Metropol Hotel with the assistance of the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Russian Federation, Ministry of Health, the Russian Academy of Sciences, Russian Association of Gerontologists  and Geriatricians, Non-governmental Ecological Fund n.a. V.I.Vernadsky, Russian Academy of Medical Technology, all-Russian social project – movement Social Tourism in Russia.

The event is aimed to strengthen the cooperation between the authorities, business, science and society in the sphere of senior people assistance.

Among the participants of the Forum will be representatives of state government bodies of constituent entities of the Russian Federation, Research Studies Institute, private associations, health service enterprises and organizations, social service institutions, healthy nutrition companies, educational institutions, mass media.

What’s more, there will be multiple exhibitions organized in the frames of the Forum. Among them are: products and services for active ageing (diagnostic units, rehabilitation equipment, body massage apparatus, treatment for health care activities, pharmaceutical dosages, acupuncture); healthy nutrition; medical and social institutions; health resorts, geriatric centers, recreation houses; household goods: air-cleaning equipment, water-treating equipment, health monitoring instructors, special purpose furniture and housewares, household chemicals, house plant;  organization of teaching, job placement and leisure time for senior sitizens.

The agenda of the Forum will include plenary meeting and breakout sessions, exhibitions (27 November 2014, the conference hall of Metropol Hotel), visiting social service institutions of Moscow (28 November 2014).
