Republican information and methodological centre “Gayle” hosts a regular workshop of Balint group of psychologists

A regular workshop of Balint group of psychologists has been recently held by the specialists of the Republican Information and Methodological Centre “Gayle”. The workshop was devoted to the issues of assisting help to children and families coping on marriage breakdown.

During the work of the seminar, the specialists emphasized the specific methods and technics to be used in work with families in crisis situations, the stages of psychological follow-up. The participants of the seminar took an active hand in the role-playing games and virtual cases.

Upon the results of the workshop, the experts agreed that holding counseling for the specialists assisting social and psychological aid for children and their parents on monthly basis is recommended.

It should be pointed out that the workshops of Balint group are hold with the purpose to develop professional skills, exchange professional experience, finding solutions of how to behave in crisis situations.
