Incidents report: 8 health and safety incidents on the factory floor in Tatarstan

Ministry of Labor, Employment and Social protection provides a report about people injured in industrial accidents on the factory floor in Tatarstan. According to the data of the Administration of the State Labour Inspectorate for the Republic of Tatarstan, 1 fatal case, 4 serious industrial accidents and 3 group cases were registered over the period from 22 to 29 September in Tatarstan.

The fatal case was registered on 24 September. The employee of OOO Kama Metal roofing Plant died being injured with the falling metal object while travelling cane operations.

The first serious industrial accident was registered to happen at OOO Set ile – Aksy in Aksubayevskiy raion. The cattleman was run down by the horse and got a intraabdominal injury and collarbone injury tending cattle.

The next accident occurred the same day in Zelenodolsk. The worker got his legs and head injured performing the welding operations in workshop №17 of the Publicly Held Company «Zelenodolsk Plant named after A.M. Gorky».

Another one accident was registered on 19 September. The electrician of OAO Airport Begichevo (Tukayevskiy raion) got a whiplash injury dismantling the illumination pole.

The last accident occurred on 22 September. The driver of OOO Nurlatskoye UTT got a whiplash injury in a road accident on the 331st km. of the roadway between Kazan and Orenburg.

As for the registered group cases, the firs one occurred on 22 September. Two electricians of OAO GRITS in Cheremshanskyi raion were injured as the result of electroconvulsive shock performing the works on changing out the  high voltage power line.

24 September, two employees of  OAO AK Bars Bank regional office for Bugulma died and one got a leg and collarbone injuries in consequence of the road accident on the 38th km. of the roadway Urussu – Bugulma.

25 September, the driver of Bugulma dermatovenerologic dispensary died and the medical director was placed in the intensive care department in consequence of the road accident on the roadway Aznakayevo – Bugulma.

  All the cases are under the investigation at the moment.
