Measures on settling of wage arrears are discussed at the regular Coordinating Council meeting

The Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Protection held a regular Coordinating Council of the Trilateral Commission for the Regulation of Social and Labour Relations. The main issues of the agenda were: discussion of financial and economic situation and measures to be taken to liquidate arrearage of salaries and social, medical and retirement insurance contributions. The Council was chaired by the First deputy minister Ayrat Khasanov.

Salary payments, social, medical and retirement insurance contributions of corporate debtors of  Kazan, as well as Almetyevsk, Leninogorsk, Muslyumovo and Chistopol raions were the issues to be discussed. The company authorities and chairs of territorial Joint Committees for the Regulation of Social and Labour Relations were also invited to participate in the Coordinating Council meeting.

After considering the results of the meeting the corporate debtors were left under supervising of the Council and the territorial Committees upon condition that they would cancel indebtedness till 1October 2014.
