Incidents report: 5 health and safety incidents on the factory floor in Tatarstan

Ministry of Labor, Employment and Social protection keeps on reporting about people injured in industrial accidents on the factory floor in Tatarstan. According to the data of the State Labour Inspectorate, 4 fatal cases and 1 serious industrial accident were registered over the period from 18 to 22 August in Tatarstan.

The first fatal case was registered on 15 August. The turner of OAO Elekon Plant in Kazan felt seedy on 8 August and died 9 days.

The second case occurred at OAO Kamaz Casting and Mechanical Plant in Naberezhnye Chelny. A crane operator was found dead in the travelling crane cabin on 19 August.

The third case was registered the same day at ОАО Nizhnekamskneftekhim. An HSE engineer was found dead in the industrial area.

The last fatal case occurred on 20 August.  An intensivist of the municipal hospital №2 of Naberezhnye Chelny felt seedy and died.

The serious industrial accident occurred on 19 August. An employee of OOO Sivas Company fell down on the piles foundation area while the sites visit.

No group cases were registered over the reporting period.

All the cases are under the investigation at the moment.
