Help children be ready for school! Campaign starts in Kaybitsy

As previously reported , the republican charitable action Help children be ready for school! was started by the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov on the 7th of July in Zainskiy raion. In their turn, the social protection department in Kaybitsy in cooperation with the Social Service Centre Omet and local volunteers held a charitable fundraising marathon to support schoolchildren from families in need. A money box for donations was installed at the market entrance. One more donation point was organized in the centre of the market for anyone who would like to take part in the action and share the school supplies bought for their children as a contribution for those who is in need.

According to the specialist of the social protection department, the earnings would be spend on stationery and office supplies for children from multi-child families, needy families and single-parent families. For instance, there are 172 children that will become first grade pupils this year in Kaybitsy and 28 of them are in need. 76 schoolchildren from 2 to 11 forms will get help as well.

The marathon will be continued the next weekend by efforts of the volunteers.

What is more, all the raion  enterprises and organizations will contribute their one-day salary to the Fund Mercy that renders support for the families in necessitous circumstances.
