The Project of Menzelinsk orphan asylum Turgay moves into third place in the All-Russian Contest of young authors’ projects

In year 2014 Social shelter for children Turgay took part in the All-Russian Contest of young authors’ project in the field of social and economic development of Russian territories My country – my Russia in nomination My choice. The aim of the Project titled The world outside the window was to form children-friendly social environment. The author of the Project is the employee of the Social shelter Leysan Gataullina, the leader of the volunteers team The social patrol at the premises of the Social shelter for children Turgay. The research advisor of the Project – Deputy director for educational and rehabilitation work Elmira Gataullina. The author of the Project Leysan Gataullina has recently successfully defended her Project in Moscow in the Centre of Youth Parliamentarism and was awarded a bronze medal and diploma.

The specialists hope that the realization of the Project will help minors to become open and communicative due to their involvement in volunteers work. They point out that more than 129 people took part in the Project: among them foster children from the Social shelter Turgay, Menzelinsk schools, young and adult volunteers.
