Lectures for parents on how to care about children with mental disabilities

The specialists of the Kazan rehabilitation Centre for children with disabilities April organized onsite consultations for families upbringing children with autistic spectrum disorders and Down syndrome. With the purpose to teach parents to render daily assistance to their children with mental disabilities and answer their questions some lectures on the issue were read. The event was well received. The parent organization Open World came forward with initiative about further cooperation with the Centre and organizing such meetings on quarterly basis.

It should be noted that the event was held in the frames of the Project Stable non-governmental organizations – stability in future of children with disabilities.
