The project Pottery of Yelabuga social centre Doveriye wins the All-Russian contest

The specialists of Yelabuga social centre Doveriye became the winners of the All-Russian contest titeled Cultural mosaic of little town and villages. The project Pottery was recognized as the best among 2 470 works sent to the contest. In total there were only 122 winners.

According to plans of the authors, the money granted will be spent on the potter's wheel, bake-out oven, special furniture, and potter's tools. The idea of the project is to open a creative workshop for the children at risk and senior people proceed with the rehabilitation in the social centre. With the help of the clay therapy the clients of the social centre – people with disabilities, senior people and children will be involved in the creative labour and get a chance to develop a sensitivity to art and improve their psychoemotional state.
