Promotion campaign coincided with International Day of Children’s Helpline

Social workers of Kazan social service centre organized a special event timed to coincide with the International Day of Children’s Helpline. The street action and group training were held for the families at risk living in Aviastroitelny raion of Kazan.

The organizers of the street action under the slogan You are no along, We are together! Informed the guests about the concept of children’s helpline and urgent psychological aid provided by the qualified specialists.

 The group training Help a child – help the family was accompanied by the slides presentation and a video titled Interactive map of ideal relationships between the parents and their children. The parents were suggested to make a list of the questions they or their children could ask applying to the telephone reassurance service. With the aim to get the results of the work done a questionnaire survey was conducted in the end of the training.

In total 8 parents came to take part in the action. Upon the results of the questionnaire survey all of them pointed out that they would applying to the telephone reassurance service in case of need. 7 people answered that they would advise their relatives to apply this service in case they need help.
