The largest number of people recognized as unemployed leave their work of their own volition

As for the showings of the reporting period from 7 to 13 May the number of unemployed was decreased by 262 people. In total, there are 17 191 people registered as unemployed with the government employment service in Tatarstan as of today. Particularly, 425 people lost their jobs, 325 of them were discharged. Among dismissed, 228 people left their work of their own volition, 43 - due to liquidation of organization or staff reduction.

It should be noted that the largest number of jobless people are registered in the biggest cities of the republic – Kazan (3791) and Naberezhnye Chelny (2098). The fewest number of unemployed people live in Aktanyish (42).
