Incidents report: 7 people injured acting in the course of their employment

Ministry of Labor, Employment and Social protection keeps on reporting about people injured in industrial accidents on the factory floor in Tatarstan. According to the data of the State Labour Inspectorate, 4 serious industrial accidents and 3 fatal cases were registered over the period from 21 to 24 April.

The first case was registered on 17 April in Kazan. A concrete worker of OOO SKD fell down from the second floor dismantling the floor slabs and got a fatal head injury.

The second fatal work injury was registered on 21 April. Electric and gas welder of ZAO NTZ TEM-PO Naberezhnye Chelny Pipe Plant was rolled inside the steal coil working in the pipemaking workshop.

The last fatal case was registered on 24 April. The boiler-house operator was found dead in Kazan National Technological University steamshop.

As for the serious industrial accidents, the first one happened to a crusher operator of OOO Mendeleyevskagrohimservice. On 18 April, at 16.30am. he fell into the hopper of the crusher while cleaning it.

The second accident happened on 22 April. The worker of OOO Naberezhnye Chelny KamgesZYAB got a hand injury having leaned on the conveyor drum.

The same day the picker of OAO KAMAZ Logistics Centre in Naberezhnye Chelny lost her conciseness and fall down on the metal floor.

The last case happened on 23 April at 10.30am. The worker of Kazan OOO Stroygazproject Plus was injured by the falling tree performing works on workover of the  gas transmittal pipeline in Kaluga oblast.

Not a single group case was registered over the reporting period.

All the cases are under the investigation at the moment.
