International Women's Day declared to be a non-work day (holiday)

Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social protection informs.

In accordance with Article 112 of the Labour Code of the Russian Federation, the 8th of March - International Women's Day is declared to be a non-work day (holiday). This year the 8th of March falls on the weekend – Saturday. In pursuance of the named Article, a non-working day (holiday) falling on a weekend day, is pushed back on the first working day. Therefore the 10th of March, Monday will be a non-working day.
