Incidents report: 6 serious industrial accidents on the factory floor

Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social protection keeps on reporting about the people injured in industrial accidents on the factory floor in Tatarstan. According to the data of the State Labour Inspectorate, 1 fatal case, 3 serious industrial accidents and 1 group case were registered over the period from 7 to 15 November.

The fatal case happened on 12 November in Yelabuga. In the morning a 59 year old crane operator of OOO Stroyinvest was found dead in the crane cabine.

The first serious industrial case was registered on 7 November. Repairing the storm drain on the roof of educational building of Kazan State Technical University a repair man fell down and got a pelvis injury.

Another serious accident was registered the same day at OOO Sviyagadorstroy. While loading-unloading operations a roadworker was hurt by the sling of the elevating mechanism swinging because of the strong wind and got a back injury.

The next incident happened on 8 November to a worker of OOO Kamenergostroyprom in Nizhnekamsk. Loading metal scrap with travelling crane a 58 year old repair mechanic received a chest injury as was pressed by the scrap tank the in Kamaz truck vessel that moved because of the disconnected sling.

The group case was registered on 14 November in Almetyevsk. A 56 year old driver and a 27 year old director of the teen club Rotor got injuries in a road accident.

All the accidents are under investigation.
