The third All Russian videoconference on problems of orphaned children

The third All Russian videoconference on the problems of orphaned children on the topic Effective regional models and best practice of prevention of child abandonment and placement orphaned children in families will be held on 1 November 2013.

The specialists of government institutions as well as non-governmental structures from different territorial subjects of Russia will discuss the issues of monitoring families on the early stages of adverse family environment and all stages of social guardianship. In particular, the participants will consider the mechanisms of early detection of dysfunctional families, motivating families to receive social assistance, the practice of appointment of a case manager and his functions in work with families, involvement of inside experts, interdepartmental interaction and other.

The Republic of Tatarstan will be represented by the Deputy minister of Labour, Employment and Social protection Azat Gabdulakhatov, the Head of department of methodology of social services Tatyana Fomicheva, Assistant head of department of methodology of social services Lyudmila Chernova, the Head of the Republican information and methodological centre “Gaile” Tatyana Zhuravleva and Coordinator of the project on preventative measures against surrenders of newborn babies in social service centres and social help Julia Piyadina.

The videoconference starts at 10:00 and lasts till 13:00.
