Weekly incident report: 2 fatal cases, 4 serious industrial accidents

Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social protection keeps on reporting about the people injured in industrial accidents on the factory floor in Tatarstan. According to the data of the State Labour Inspectorate 2 fatal cases and 4 serious industrial accidents were registered over the period from 5 to 11 October.

The first fatal case happened on 7 October at OOO Grad in Kazan. A 29 year old woodworker fell down from the 14th floor at building site.

The second case happened the same day in Leninogorsk. The engine driver of the individual businessman V.A.Shestakov enterprise got a head injury by the pipe relieving excess gas.

The first serious industrial accident happened on 7 October at Kazan State Powder Mill to the blends making operator who got get poisoned unloading defective goods.

The next case happened the same date at OOO Industrial Company AyroGaz in Kazan. 19 year old worker got a hand injury isolating metal pipe.

On 8 October the machine operator of OAO shipping company Tatflot suffered bad burns of legs and arms.

The last case took place at OOO TNG – Kontur in Yelabuga. The assistant driller got hand and leg injuries by the rotating bell crank disconnecting grounding cable.

No group cases were registered over the reporting period.

All the cases are under investigation at the moment.
