The jobless rate in Tatarstan goes down

According to statistics, there are 18 299 people registered as unemployed with the government employment service in Tatarstan as of 1 October (512 people less than as of the last week).

In total 706 people were recognized as unemployed over the reporting period. Among them, 367 people registered as unemployed were resigned of their own will, 46 people – by reason of          liquidation of organization or staff reduction.

It has to be noted that the unemployment level as a whole is not so high: there are only little more than 18 000 of unemployed people from amongst 2 mln. 50 thous. of economically active population. The unemployment-vacancy ratio in labour market stands at 0,45 people per vacancy in present.
