5 accidents registered on the factory floor in Tatarstan last week

Ministry of labour, employment and social protection keeps on reporting about the people injured in industrial accidents.

According to the data of the State Labour Inspectorate 4 serious industrial accidents and 1 group accident were registered over the period from 26 July to 2 August.

The first severe accident dated 30 July happened to the driver of “Machine technological company AkBars” in Zelenodolsk, who fell in an inspection pit.

The day before a 59-year old plumber of OAO Factory Elekon drank from unmarked can and received alkali burns of the oral cavity.

The next case happened at OOO «P-D Tatneft-Alabuga glass fiber» company in Elabuzhsky raion. A 20-year old machine operator working in proofing and laying down glass tissue section did not remove his hand from the shaft when switched the starting button. As a result he received closed fracture of the forearm with displacement of the bone fragments.

A serious industrial accident happened at OAO Nefis Cosmetics at the beginning of August. A 38-year old machine operator got his ribs cracked with the sling broken while load lifting.

A group case happened at OOO Gazprom Transgaz Kazan on 29 July in Mendeleyevsky raion. 3 people were involved in the road accident. One of them died. Two people got injuries of different severity.

All the cases are presently under investigation.
