The largest number of layoffs - in the field of manufacturing

According to the monitoring data of the Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Protection of Tatarstan in the unemployed registered in the period from 16 to 22 August, from the sphere of manufacturing resigned 103 people. The second largest number of layoffs takes institution wholesale and retail trade. In the reporting week 93 people working there have been registered in the employment offices. In terms of other sectors of the number of unemployed was distributed as follows: agriculture - 26 people; mining - 7 persons; production and distribution of electricity, gas and water - 18 people; building - 36 people; hotels and restaurants - 9 people;  transport and communications - 30 people; financial services - 20 persons; real estate - 31 people; public administration and defense - 29 people; education - 51 people; health - 31 people; other community, social and personal services - 35 people.

During the period from 16 to 22 August 764 people were considered unemployed. Of those 510 people were laid off, including people laid off on their own volition - 360 people, in connection with the liquidation of the organization, or the reduction of the staff – 75; and 75 – for other reasons.
