The first international research and practice conference “Begin with you. Providing secure terms and work safety on the official places” started in Kazan

Tonight the first international research and practice conference “Begin with you. Providing secure terms and work safety on the official places” started functioning in Kazan.

More than 120 representatives of the bodies of executive power in Russian Federation and the Republic of Tatarstan, scientists and specialists in the sphere of work safety from Russian Federation’ constituent units and CIS’ countries came to discuss this topic. Airat Shafigullin, the Minister of Labour, Employment and Social Protection in RT, and Nicolay Novikov, CEO of the National Association of work safety centers, vice-president of the international association INSHPO, addressed to the participants in a complimentary speech. Airat Shafigullin pointed that the conference will not bring only fundamental practical advantage for everyone, but also will serve the consolidation of the specialists’ community in the sphere of work safety. The conference will be going on for 2 days. This time the members of the conference will discuss the questions of the modern technologies usage, valuation of the occupational safety hazards, organization of the specialists’ training and tuition, use of the modern safety equipment, best practices in the work protection system of management. Discussion of such questions with partners and colleagues within the conference will promote the more effective solution of the problems of the workers’ security upgrade and their health protection.

It should be mentioned, that the conference location in Kazan is not an accident: questions of the work places protection are attentively considered in the Republic of Tatarstan by the President of the Republic R. N. Minnikhanov and the Government of the Republic. The immediate decisions concerning the recession of industrial injuries’ level and improvement of working conditions are accepted in Tatarstan.

The conference was organized by the Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Protection in RT, the National association of work safety centers (Moscow city), local agency of the qualification development.
