Psychologists of the center of social service of the population "Harmony" helped graduates to be prepared for Unified State Examination psychologically

Psychologists of the Buinsky center of social service of the population "Harmony" carried out a cycle of occupations for graduates of school of the Cherki-Kildurazovsky rural settlement. These "lessons" were directed on rendering of a psychological assistance by the pupil by preparation and delivery of Unified State Examination, GIA. The course purpose - to remove an emotional stress and to lower level of alarm of teenagers, thereby to help them to cope successfully with examination tasks.
Occupations began with diagnostics of a condition of pupils by a technique «A nonexistent animal». Psychologists note that before trainings almost all pupils represented Unified State Examination as a terrible animal that testified to high level of uneasiness concerning examination.
During occupations of teenagers taught to cope with psychological difficulties, to show self-control in stressful situations by preparation and passing an examination. At "lessons" by means of special exercises - auto-training, methods of a muscular and respiratory relaxation children mastered equipment of self-control and self-support.
Carrying out practical exercises, they developed abilities adequately to estimate the possibilities, to plan and distribute time.
By results of total questioning it became clear that after classes 75 % of participants estimate degree of the alarm and fears concerning examination as low in comparison with results before carrying out training. 90 % of graduates intend to apply the received knowledge in life.
In order to organize systematic work to support various categories of Fatherland defenders, participants in heroic events, as well as to perpetuate the memory of servicemen and law enforcement officials who died in the performance of military and official duty, a public project of the Volga Federal District “Heroes of the Fatherland” was held.
