Alcoholism in modern Russia is a very serious problem. All-Russian Day of Sobriety is supposed to be a good occasion to target people for a healthy lifestyle and refuse alcohol consumption.

Several events coincide with All-Russian Day of Sobriety were held in the residential care facility for senior citizens and people with disabilities in municipal district of Bavly.

Specialists of the institution conducted preventive talks and actions, information and enlightenment hours, blitz surveys and express quizzes. Recipients of social services learned that the annual All-Russian Day of Sobriety, celebrated on September 11, had more than a hundred-year history.
