“Strong in spirit” Sport Event in Mamadysh municipal district

Last year the residential care facility for senior citizens and people with disabilities of Mamadysh municipal district became the winner of the Competition of Social and Cultural Projects organized by OAO RITEK in nomination “Sport”. The money grant was spent on sports ground.

Today an annual sports event under the slogan “Strong in spirit” has been held on the sports ground of the care home. Participants of the event tried their hands in different sports activities. According to specialists, many seniors spend a lot of their time sitting or lying down. This, combined with the fact that the human body naturally loses muscle mass after the age of 50, can be harmful to our health.
