The president of Tatarstan celebrated defenders of Fatherland

Today in the Tatar academic state opera and ballet theater of M.Dzhalil has passed the solemn action devoted to celebrating of Day of the defender of Fatherland.
In action have taken part: the President of Republic Tatarstan Rustam Minnihanov, the Prime minister of Republic Tatarstan Ildar Halikov, veterans, participants of military operations, State adviser Republics Tatarstans Mintimer Shajmiev, the minister of work, employment and social protection of RT Ajrat Shafigullin.
In the opening address Rustam Minnikhanov hasn'ted: «On a level with other national celebrations this courageous, heroic holiday has strongly entered into life of our people. Today we celebrate all those who is on guard of our Native land, protecting it from external and internal threats. We remember heroes, we honor memory of fathers and grandfathers. We address on service to Fatherland of representatives of young generation. Day of the defender of Fatherland is a holiday which unites representatives of all age, nationalities and religions».
The President of Tatarstan has awarded the best defenders of Fatherland state with awards.

In order to organize systematic work to support various categories of Fatherland defenders, participants in heroic events, as well as to perpetuate the memory of servicemen and law enforcement officials who died in the performance of military and official duty, a public project of the Volga Federal District “Heroes of the Fatherland” was held.
