Professional orientation of children in Leninogorsk

Children from vulnerable families – clients of the Complex Social Service Centre were recently gathered together in the walls of the Employment Centre of Leninogorsk with the aim to take part in professional orientation lesson. The event was initiated by specialists of the Government Employment Service and was held in cooperation with psychologists of Logos Centre.

According to specialists of the state employment service, potential employees on the one side no longer match the available jobs on the other. Young people must therefore be given the assistance they need to decide on their future careers, based on an adequate overview of the changing educational, training and employment markets and awareness of their own interests and strengths.
