Day of Family, Love and Fidelity in Spassky municipal district

9 July 2018, a festive event coincided with the Day of Family, Love and Fidelity has been held today in residential care facility for senior citizens and people with disabilities in Spassky municipal district. Participants of the event were told a story of Peter and Fevronia – patrons of family happiness.

The Day of Saints Peter and Fevronia since the days of Kievan Rus and until 1917, was broadly celebrated in Russia because it was believed that the saints Peter and Fevronia are the patrons of marriage and family, as well as the symbols of love and fidelity.
