Health Worker Day in Mendeleyevsk municipal district

Health Worker Day – a professional holiday for all medical workers and veterans of the Russian healthcare system is annually celebrated in Russia on 17 June 2018.

Several special events for children – fosterlings of the social shelter for minors were held that day in Menzelinsk municipal district. Ludmila Yeliseyeva, social teacher of the shelter shared with children information about nutrient-enriched food and junk food, biologically active supplements and vitamins, oral-dental and gastroenteric tract diseases induced by excess sugar consumption.

The lectures were followed with active role games where children took on the roles of doctors, medical nurses and patients.
