Social Worker Day 2018 celebrated in Kazan
Festive event dedicated to Social Worker Day 2018 was recently held in Kazan. Social Worker Day is a professional holiday for more than 9 000 thousand workers of social service institutions of the Republic of Tatarstan. Among guests of the event were specialists of the Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Protection of the Republic of Tatarstan, young specialists as well as veterans of social service.
The event was opened with welcome speech of Elmira Zaripova, Minister of Labour, Employment and Social Protection of the Republic of Tatarstan. “It is the key day in the year that social workers worldwide stand together to celebrate the achievements of the profession and take the theme message into their communities, workplaces and to their governments to raise awareness of the social work contributions and need for further action”, said the Minister.
