Health screening Tetyushi care home residents

3 May 2018, Thursday

Medical workers of Tetyushi Central District Hospital recently visited the residential care facility for senior citizens and people with disabilities with the aim to conduct health screening of its residents.

According to health professionals, one in every three adults has elevated blood pressure, which is known as hypertension. Hypertension is often called a “silent killer” because symptoms may not show up until it’s too late. It increases risk for stroke or heart attack. This is why it’s essential to have blood pressure checked at least once a year.
