Disabled employment issues discussed in municipal district of Almetyevsk
Meeting concerning employment of disabled people of active working age was yesterday held within the walls of the Employment Centre in municipal district of Almetyevsk with participation of local authorities, employers and specialists of the Government Employment Service. Participants of the meeting discussed changes to procedures of paying subsidies from the republican budget for preservation of jobs for people with disabilities at enterprises established by non-governmental associations of disabled people.
Agenda of the meeting included issues of disabled employment, quotation system set for small and medium-sized enterprises, organization of employment fairs for people with disabilities, making reasonable adjustments to the workplace so that an employee with a disability can do their job effectively.
