Fire Evacuation Drill at Arsk Complex Social Service Centre

Regular fire evacuation drill has been recently held at the Complex Social Service Centre in municipal district of Arsk. The purpose and the objectives of the fire evacuation drill included identifying any weaknesses in the evacuation strategy as well as familiarizing new occupants with procedures.

Among participants of the evacuation drill were 27 clients of the Social Rehabilitation Department of the Centre, all of them people with disabilities and senior people as well as the stuff.

According to H.Akhmetov, head of local fire fighting unit, throughout the drill the responsible person and nominated observers should pay particular attention to: use of the nearest available escape routes as opposed to common circulation routes, inappropriate actions such as stopping to collect personal items and attempting to use lifts, windows and doors not being closed as people leave.
