International Day of Older Persons in Mendeleyevsk municipal district

A children's drawing competition, celebrating coincided with International Day of Older Persons was launched last week by specialists in social work in the Complex Social Service Centre in Mendeleyevsk municipal district. In the drawing contest children were invited to send in sketches of their parents and grandparents.
According to specialists, drawing allows children to express themselves, process their world, experiment with ideas and techniques, make art anywhere, interact with others and develop fine motor skills.
