According to specialists in social work of Nizhnekamsk Social Shelter for minors, feeding birds in winter can be rewarding and enjoyable in the midst of chilly weather. By understanding which birds are around in winter and what they need to eat, both novice and experienced backyard birders make the most of their feeders during the coldest months of the year.

Kind Deeds Marathon was organized last week in municipal district of Yelabuga. The event was held with active involvement of labour collectives of social institutions for children with disabilities. All together they collected and junked scrap paper. Proceeds from the sale were spent on folding cane for children with musculoskeletal system diseases.

Heads of social service institutions of municipal districts of Kukmor, Bugulma and Mendeleyevsk recently took part in the meeting organized within the walls of the Complex Social Service Centre in Zainsk municipal district. The meeting was devoted to problems of establishment of non-profit-making organizations in social sector.

There are 11 603 people registered as unemployed with the State Employment Service for the Republic of Tatarstan as of 12 December 2017 (72 people more in comparison to showings of the last week). Officially registered unemployment rate amounted to 0,56% of the economically active population in Tatarstan.

Number of unemployed registered with the State Employment Service for the Republic of Tatarstan decreased by 30 people over the last week and amounted to 994 people out of occupation in the town of Naberezhnye Chelny. The number of unemployed decreased as well in such monotowns as Kazan, Nizhnekams and Kamkiye Polyany.

According to the ruling of the justice of the peace of judicial district №2 for Leninigorsk municipal district, HR-Manager of OOO Leninogorskneftstroy was found guilty of committing administrative offence provided in Article 5.42 of Administrative Offenses Code of the Russian Federation and was held liable to fine at a rate of 5 000 rubles.

Final round of IV Republican Competition “Perl of Tatarstan – 2017” among women with disabilities was held in Kazan on 8 December 2017. Xeniya Bezuglova – winner of Miss World – 2013 held among women with disabilities, member of Disabled Counsel became a special gust of the show invited to host it.

Regular visits to families at risk registered on social patronage at the Home Care Department of the Complex Social Service Centre of Layshevo municipal district were organized last week by social workers of the Centre.

Employment Centre of Zainsk municipal district offers a variety of "hands-on" courses for unemployed people that teach real skills employers need. Lately, 13 people out of occupation joined professional trainings to acquire a profession of hairdresser.

Benefit concert of Kazan Chamber Orchestra «La Primavera» was held last weekend in the State Concert Hall named after Saydashev. The Concert conducted by Rustem Abyazov, creative director and principal conductor of the Orchestra was visited by clients of the residential care facility for senior citizens and people with disabilities of Chistopol municipal district.
