Another meeting devoted to issues of disable employment was held within the walls of the Employment Centre with participation of HR specialists of local enterprises and organization carrying out their activities in the territory of Mendeleyevsk municipal district.

Several interdepartmental raids to families at risk registered on social patronage were organized by specialists in social work of the Complex Social Service Centre in cooperation with local authorities in May 2017. The aim of the raids was to go house-to-house and visit senior citizens aged above 70 that live along.

Number of unemployed registered with the State Employment Service for the Republic of Tatarstan decreased by 151 people over the last week and amounted to 4 481 people out of occupation in the city of Kazan as of 16 May 2017.

Regular visits to families at risk registered on social patronage were held by specialists of the Employment Centre together with social workers of the Complex Social Service Centre in Zainsk municipal district. According to specialists such raids were aimed to inspect housing conditions as well as provide competent advice and consult citizens on employment of minors for summer period, effective job search, situation on labour market of the Republic of Tatarstan.

With a focus on promotion of employment and improving competitiveness there are professional training courses organized for unemployed residents of Nurlaty municipal district.

Special event for children with disabilities and their parents was recently held by specialists of the Social Assistance Department of the Complex Social Service Centre of Kazan in cooperation with the representatives of the United Russia Political Party upon an initiative of social association of parents upbringing children with disabilities.

Prior to the International Day of Families observed on the 15th of May every year, several professional orientation trainings for schoolchildren and their parents were held by specialists of the Employment Center in Bugulma municipal district.

Prior to the International Day of Families observed on the 15th of May every year, one of the street cafes located in the town of Kukmor opened its doors for children from multi-child families and those in need. “We offer our meals for free to those who can’t afford them”, said the café manager. The event was help in cooperation with specialists in social work of Kukmor Complex Social Service Centre.

Due to work performed by the Republican Inter-Departmental Commission for Living Standards, Labour and Foreign Workers in the Republic of Tatarstan in cooperation with law-enforcement authorities several corporate debtors operating in the territory of Tatarstan cleared arrears in payments.
