Regular visits to households o senior citizens aged above 70 living alone are being organized in municipal district of Tetyushi. Last week specialists in social work visited five families living in two distant villages.

Training course “My future profession” for children – fosterlings of the social shelter for minors was held yesterday in Pestretsy municipal district.

Regular fire and evacuation drill was recently held in Complex Social Service Centre in Tetyishi municipal district. Evacuation drill involved all staff and visitors. Everyone had to leave the building when the fire alarm sounds unless otherwise notified by the responsible person that it is a test of the fire alarm system only. The drill was organized in cooperation with fire fighters of fire and salvage unit №133 of the Federal Fire-Fighting Service for the Republic of Tatarstan.

A group of veterans of the Great Patriotic war – residents of Kazan have today gone on a two days journey to the neighboring Chuvash Republic. The rout of the excursion ends in the capital of Chuvash Republic – town of Chebaksary. The delegation consists of: participant of the Great Patriotic war – Salingareyev Kasim (1924 year of birth), workers on the home front – Tukayeva Rashida (1929 year of birth) and Tukayev Kamil (1927 year of birth), resident of blockaded Leningrad, Chairman of Kazan City War Veteran Organization, Komyakov Albert (1938 year of birth).

Due to work performed by the Republican Inter-Departmental Commission for Living Standards, Labour and Foreign Workers in the Republic of Tatarstan in cooperation with law-enforcement authorities, regulatory and supervisory authorities, tax authorities in August 2017, several corporate debtors operating in the territory of Tatarstan cleared arrears in payments.

Annual round table discussion devoted to issues of graduating students employment was held last week within the walls of the Employment Centre in Almetyevsk municipal district. The meeting was held with participation of local employers – enterprises and organizations.

Regular employment fair for people with disabilities was recently held in Almetyevsk municipal district. The fair was held in cooperation with one of the major enterprises providing employment for people with disabilities – Yelabuga Enterprise of Sealing and Plastics Articles.

Specialized employment fair for students graduating from educational institutions of intermediate vocational education was recently held within the walls of the Employment Centre of Almetyevsk.

In accordance with the Law of the Republic of Tatarstan 1448-XII of 19 February 1992 “About holidays and commemorative dates”, 30 August – The Day of the Republic of Tatarstan and Kurban Bayram is declared to be a non-working days (holidays) in the Republic of Tatarstan.

There are 12 834 people registered as unemployed with the State Employment Service for the Republic of Tatarstan as of 15 August 2017 (34 people less in comparison to showings of the last week). Unemployment level in Tatarstan stands at point of 0,62% of work-force size.
