A competition to find the best social teacher was launched on 12 September 2017 in the Republic of Tatarstan. The competition held among republican social institutions for children is aimed on developing pedagogical excellence, sharing positive experience as well as spreading advanced social technologies, forms and methods of social work.

Specialist in social work of the Complex Social Service Centre of Vysokaya Gora municipal district recently paid several visits to their clients – senior citizens living along in distant villages of Aybashi, Chepchugi, Berezkino and Dubyazy. The visits were organized in the frames of an annual “Autumn of Good Deeds” Campaign traditionally coincided with International Day of Older Persons.

Regular round-table meeting devoted to employment of people with disabilities and socially unprotected groups was held on 13 September 2017 in Employment Centre for Almetyevsk municipal district. 

Upon the results of the qualification games of Indoor Soccer Tournament 2017 held among teams of social institutions for children in spring this year that took place in the capital of Tatarstan – Kazan, the team of the Complex Social Service Centre of Vysokaya Gora became the second. 

Several street actions within the frames of “Say No! to Extremism” Month Campaign were held last week by Natalya Zakirova, social teacher of the Complex Social Service Centre in cooperation with activists of local volunteer’s division in the streets of Baltasy settlement. The aim of the actions was to explain residents of Baltasy the essence, causes and effects of extremism.

Employment Centre of Zelenodolsk municipal district offers a variety of "hands-on" courses for unemployed people that teach real skills employers need. Lately professional courses for future electric and gas welder attended by 15 students were ended.

Several lessons in professional orientation were held last month for children – clients of the Rehabilitation Centre for Children with Disabilities in Bugulma municipal district. The lessons were given by specialist of the Government Employment Service.

Professional orientation excursion to Fire Safety Station №62 was recently organized by Irina Grosheva and Rimma Borisova - specialists in social work of Nizhnekamsk Social Assistance Center for Family and children. The event gathered 19 minors from families at risk that have problems with the law.

There are 12 209 people registered as unemployed with the State Employment Service for the Republic of Tatarstan as of 12 September 2017 (407 people more in comparison to showings of the last week). Officially registered unemployment rate amounted to 0,59% of the economically active population in Tatarstan. 

Several lessons in professional orientation will be organized for schoolchildren of General Schools located in Leninogorsk municipal district in September 2017. The lessons will be given by specialists of the Government Employment Service for the Republic of Tatarstan.
