There are 17 896 people registered as unemployed with the government employment service in Tatarstan as of today, 912 of them became unemployed just over the period from 16 to 22 October (35 people less than as of the last week).

Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social protection keeps on reporting about the people injured in industrial accidents on the factory floor in Tatarstan. According to the data of the State Labour Inspectorate, 2 serious industrial accidents and 1 group accident were registered over the period from 11 to 18 October.

A career fair for jobless people and all commers was held in the job centre of Privolzhskyi raion. HR Department specialists of such companies as ZAO Kazan Metalware Plant, ОАО Teplokontrol, ОАО KPATP-1, trolleybus depot №2 Municipal Unitary Enterprise Metroelectrotrans, ООО Antey - Spetstroy, ОАО Kazan Agroindustrial Park, ZАО Er-Telekom Holding, Department of Federal Bailiff Service for the Republic of Tatarstan suggested their open jobs and positions.

Starting from 16 October the New Age TV channel will translate a new TV programme Good Deed, created to enlighten the activity of social service institutions falling within the ambit of the Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social protection, such as rest homes for senior citizens and disabled people, social service centres, psychoneurological institutions, rehabilitation centers for people with disabilities.

Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social protection informs regarding the following. The TV channel New Age started translation of TV programme Social literacy project. This project was launched first of all with the aim to expound socially important and sharp question to the senior citizens and people with disabilities.

The number of vacancies filed by the republican companies exceeds twice the number of people registered as unemployed. The jobless level in Tatarstan stays unchangeable at 0,87%.

The employers’ requirement amounts to 39 554 vacancies in Tatarstan today. Just over the period under report from 9 to 15 October 2 451 vacancies were registered by the job centres.

The showings of the last reporting period from 9 to 15 October revealed an insignificant increase in the number of unemployed in Tatarstan (by 15 poople). So the number of jobless totals today 17 931 people (including 784 people recognized as unemployed over the last reporting week). Among them, 411 people resigned of their own will, 57 people – by reason of liquidation of organization or staff reduction.
