Professional orientation of children with disabilities

Several lessons on professional orientation were held last week by Elena Antonova, specialist of Employment Centre, within the walls of the Rehabilitation Center for Children with Disabilities. The lessons gathered more than twenty children – clients of the Centre. Together with their parents the children were acquainted with a wide world of professions suitable for people with disabilities.

“More and more organizations are now actively creating jobs for disabled people. In fact, great opportunities can be found within nearly every industry. The government, healthcare, technology, and financial sectors, in particular, are increasingly becoming more welcoming to those who are physically or mentally challenged”, underlined the tutor.
