Field kitchen for veterans of Great Patriotic war

Yesterday, on 9May 2017, specialists of the Social Assistance Centre for Family and Children for Nizhnekamsk municipal district met veterans of the Great Patriotic war and workers on home fronts in the field kitchen trailer.

According to Xenia Semenova, head of the organizational and methodological department of the Centre, the veterans not only received an opportunity to taste traditional army food but also take part in holiday concert, talk to each other and share their memories about those hard days. In fact, during wartime field kitchens were not only eating areas but also leisure areas for solders where they could have rest prior to battles.
