Year of Ecology in Nizhnekamsk

Exhibition of children’s drawings “Man and Ecology” was recently held in the social shelter for children in Nizhnekamsk municipal district.
The aim of the event was to attract children’s attention to environmental problems and cultivate environmental friendliness.
All the drawings appeared to be not without interest – the painters touched the environmental problems of their native town, stated that ecological cleanliness depended on every citizen, appealed to understand the value of nature, protect environment and take care of all creatures great and small.
According to Irina Fotina, social teacher of the shelter, such events are supposed to develop environmental culture and engage children in nature protection activities.
