91 year old resident of Tatarstan becomes a winner of All-Russian Competition “Thank you, Internet 2016”

Awarding ceremony for winners of the Second All-Russian Competition “Thank you, Internet 2016”held among the Internet users of retirement and pre-retirement age as well as pensioners and people with disabilities that attended PC literacy courses has been recently held in Moscow. The Republic of Tatarstan appeared to be the republic that had sent the biggest number of participants to the competition among all the territorial subjects of the Russian Federation. Therefore two residents of Tatarstan became the winners of the competition: Akhsan Sharip (91 years old) and Firdavsa Yafizova (59 years old), according to organizing committee.

In total there were more than 3 000 applications submitted to the organizing committee of the competition. Upon the results of the pre-qualification round 2 525 projects from 76 territorial subjects of the Russian Federation were supposed to correspond the requirements of the competition.
