The Day of National Unity and The Constitution Day of the Republic of Tatarstan declared to be holidays

The Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Protection of the Republic of Tatarstan informs about the following.

According to the Article №112 of the Labour Code, the 4th of November – The Day of National Unity is declared to be a non-working day (holiday).

As 3 and 5 November are pre-holiday days, duration of the working day will be cut by 1 hour in accordance with the Article №95 of the Labour Code of the Russian Federation.

In obedience to the Law of the Republic of Tatarstan № 67 of 29 September 2016 “Concerning the Introduction of an Amendment to Article 1 of Law of the Republic of Tatarstan “About holidays and commemorative dates in the Republic of Tatarstan” a holiday falling on weekend is not transferred to the next working day. In such cases additional day of rest is not provided.

So that this year, 4,5 and 6 November 2016 is declared to be a non-working days (holidays), the length of the working day on 3 November is cut by one hour.
