Social package or money compensation? It’s up to citizens to decide

Several meetings for senior citizens and people with disabilities were held in September by specialists of  Nizhnekamsk Complex Social Service Centre with the aim to inform clients of the Centre about their rights for social package or money compensation the can receive instead.

The client base of the Centre involves more than 500 people with disabilities – recipients of social services. The most part of them receive social packages including medicines. Each client is monthly consulted by social workers, medical workers at healthcare institutions.

In September this year 46 applications for social package were submitted to the Territorial Social Security Office of  Nizhnekamsk. Wheelchair persons and other people with limited mobility have the opportunity to file an application at their homes being visited by social worker of specialist of the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation.
