Social events for parents upbringing children with special needs

Cultural and social rehabilitation and abilitation of children with disabilities is one of the work areas of the Social Assistance Department of the Complex Social Service Centre located in Aksubayevo. With this purpose a special cultural event for children with special needs was recently organized by efforts of specialists of the Centre in cooperation with Children's Art School.

The event succeed to attract in total 15 families upbringing children with disabilities. The representatives of the Children's Art School informed parents about free hobby groups their children may attend to develop their creativity. According to specialists in rehabilitation participation of parents themselves in such groups would help children in better social adaptation and would unlock their potential.
