“Book Is the Best Gift” Charitable action in Kazan

Another volunteer action “Book Is the Best Gift” coincided with the International Day of Charity and charitable action “Autumn Week of Good Deeds” annually held in Tatarstan was recently organized in Kazan. Good Samaritans – residents of Kazan were offered to donate their books to Central City Library.

Part of donation would be sent to one of the republican orphan asylums for mentally –challenged children located in the village of Verkhniye Otary.

Residents of Kazan appeared to be very enthusiastic in their reaction to the action. Most of the m wished “Book Is the Best Gift” action becomes a kind tradition.
