30 August – The Day of the Republic of Tatarstan declared to be a holiday

The Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social protection of the Republic of Tatarstan announces the following.

In accordance with the Law of the Republic of Tatarstan 1448-XII of 19 February 1992 “About holidays and commemorative dates”, 30 August – The Day of the Republic of Tatarstan is declared to be a non-working day (holiday).

Following Article 95 of the Labour Code of the Russian Federation, the length of the working day or shift directly preceding a public holiday shall be reduced by one hour.

So that this year, 30 August is declared to be a non-working day (holiday), the length of the working day on 29 August is cut by one hour.
