Minimum wage increase – rise in the standard of living: IldarKhalikov

Today, Prime Minister of the Republic of TatarstanIldarKhalikovhas taken part in the three-party agreementsigning ceremony. The Agreement regulating the minimum wage rate in Tatarstan was concluded between Federation of Trade Unions of the Republic of Tatarstan, Employers' AssociationCoordinating Council and the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan.

IldarKhalikov underlined that it was the fourthminimum wage agreement signed in Tatarstan. The first one was concluded in 2007. According to current agreement signed in 2015 the minimum wage rate set for off-budget economic sectors of the Republic of Tatarstan amounted to 7 309 rubles.

“Our social partners were offered to conclude a new republican minimum wage agreement. It was suggested to set a minimum wage rate of 8 252 rubles that equals 95 percent from the level of the subsistence minimum for able-bodied citizens (8 686 rubles in the second quarter this year) for off-budget economic sectors of the Republic of Tatarstan”: said the Prime Minister.
