Society of women suffering from alcohol dependence in Nurlaty

Two years ago a special club for women “Open heart” was established in the Complex Social Service Centre of Nurlaty for mothers – women from families at risk suffering from alcohol dependence.
The club was established upon an initiative of women registered on social patronage. According to social workers, some women were terminated of parental rights all along of alcohol abuse.
Members of the club help each other to solve their problems, hear each other out, visit Alcoholics Anonymous Society (rehabilitation programme “12 steps”), get consultations of specialists in rehabilitation.
